250 nationals. Who's your pick?

4/26/2019 3:06am Edited Date/Time 5/11/2019 5:15am
Lot of potential winner's this year.
AP. Ferrandis, AC, Amart, Sexton, Lawrence, MacElrath, Justin Cooper, RJ, Colt plus a few others that have stepped it up.
Given AC's SX results and consistency, I have him for the overall at this point with a lot of different moto winner's.
Who y'all got your money on?

I haven't quite given up on Covington yet. Maybe not a title shot but he should be in a different league compared to supercross.
I'd go with Ferrandis vs AC. Forkner won't be 100% I guess and everyone else won't stand a chance IMO

If you would have asked me this time last year I would have said Covington but I´m not so sure anymore. It´s pretty wide open and will be hella fun to watch.
Ferrandis, Forkner, AC, Sexton and Cooper all look very good this year. We shouldnt forget A-mart, Covington, Nichols or Hampshire either. They are all capable of winning.
Is Marty doing outdoors? Anything can happen with that guy

If I have to pick one it would have to be Cooper.

Ferrandis and AC are my favorites. Cooper the outsider.

I think Hunter Lawrence might have a real shot at the title, Sexton, Amart, Cianciarulo and Ferrandis could take it aswell.

Hunter Lawrence was on it at the Des Nations and was really impressed. That being said I will be cheering for AC92 and the Troll train. But if I had to lay down money it would be Cooper or Ferrandis for the championship.

AC. Ferrandis could take it, but he hasn't had the consistency. I think it will be a battle all summer with these two.

Forkner has his knee injury so will probably be out to get that fixed?
Forgot about Covington. H's had such a bad run indoors but that was sort of expected. Maybe not as bad as it was. Hope he steps it up outdoors too

I am thinking:

Cooper most likely.

AC and Ferrandis might end up being able to take it.

Cooper is my dark horse if you will. Outdoors animal and has found the speed in SX this year. I think he'll be able to be more consistent as well.

I go AC then Ferrandis then Cooper and it's close... I'm expecting at least 6 different overall winners and maybe 8 different moto winners this year.

This is AC's year, no ifs, no ands, or butts...... Dude has paid the price, he has the God given talent, but more importantly, is finally healthy and confident!!!.... God himself would have a hard time beating AC this summer, good luck to the mere mortals at the gate.....

I no longer have doubts about Dylans consistency.
He crashed at round 2 of SX and finished 6th. Other than that he was 2nd or 1st every time but in San Diego where his bike expired on the last lap sitting in 2nd or 3rd
That's pretty darn good and more consistent than any other 250 rider right now

Covington and Lawrence just got a taste of what it's like to race in the US. Their confidence is totally shaken and they won't do much this summer. Lawrence will learn a lot, steadily improve and be solid top 5 by end of summer. He'll do better next year.

AC will be a little hungover and probably have his 450 deal locked in, so he'll be satisfied with a podium (for championship) and a few overalls.

Ferrandis has hit his stride and he's pissed that he let his SX shot get away. He will dominate and take the championship.

Cooper will win motos, two overalls, contend for red plate until last 1/3 of the season, and be on the podium a lot.

AMart gonna AMart - solid at all times, great corner speed, not a title threat.

Sexton will win 2 motos, but mostly be top 5.

Nah. Gonna party hard in Vegas and spend some of that new 450 deal money. Gonna get some sleep. Gonna eat some Pizza. A lot of Pizza.

Meanwhile Ferrandis, will be doing motos without a seat or rear brake for 10 hours per day; eating motocross, sleeping motocross, and shitting motocross with DV holding up a pitboard with AC's championship photo pasted to it every single lap.

Ferrandis will crush the first 3 rounds before AC gets it together and decides it's better to win a bunch of 1st motos and just cruise it in for 3rd place on the season.

Is there enough time for Forkner to race the nationals, get his knee fixed, and race east coast?
