250 SX - East / West or Full Schedule?

Keep East/West.

Combining the 2 coast is a bad idea, IMO. It would get rid of rides/teams.

You can say yeah, but they race outdoors and they all line up together, so what's the difference. The difference is there's 40 gates to fill, not 22. Splitting up the coast allows the 250 teams to put guys on each coast filling up those "40" gates.

If you combine the coasts, the 250 teams would go down to 2-3 riders. We already see that with the 450 class.

Some of the smaller teams don't have the budget to do a full 17 round series and those teams are needed in the sport.

A lot of talent would be forced out of the sport or have to privateer it.

The only thing they need to change is revert back the rule of them counting 250 SX points towards earning a national number.

What Mav said. Not only do rides disappear but also mechanics/techs/support staff. And given that there is basically no step to Supercross from amateur....it's not a bad thing for these kids to have a shorter series with a bit less competition IMO.

It would be kind of cool to have it combined for just this year maybe... but not for good

Daytona should be an E/W shootout every year. It's so unique, why not have all the top 250 guys there?

While I realize scheduling is a slave to the venues, if it remains an E/W series, it should be more even in the scheduling.

Present scheduling has offered huge advantages to west riders in outdoor prep and rest.

Only advantage east riders get is more SX prep to use against their own riders/coast.
