Can remember a more pathetic turnout and lack of depth. I am not discounting the skill of the guys there, just really noting the sad turnout and depth. 13 riders in heat 1?

Not many privateers are going to drive across country for one race, East west showdown would be way harder to make than a regular SX

Good point, but 13 guys in a heat race? That's some local turnout stuff. Been at this for over 30 years and can't really remember this thin of a turn out.

Depending on who doesn’t line up because of earlier crashes there may only 5 or 6 guys in the LCQ
