Has anybody here gotten one yet, how does the motor compare to the previous carb model? Is the fi an improvement? I'm dying to know.

They aren’t out yet, but a friend of mine told me that there’s a reason why they didn’t bring back the 150.
He would know… Cool

What was the scoop? The efi125 is faster than the carb 150?? That would be really cool. Hope they nail the settings!!!

I have one on order for my grandson and I called just about a week ago and they told me they are telling them mid-late october! Hopefully it doesn't get pushed back any farther.

When has an efi bike ever been faster than a carb bike? Less hassle sure, but faster? They must have figured something out if that’s the case

Sure hoping so. We came out here to California and he rode a 21/22 husky 125 for first time (normally rides husky 85 big wheel). We got to ride at cahuilla and perris (one of those mx vacations) and he loved the bike.
Only problem now is he home in bama, im here in cali working and bikes coming to Mississippi but the minute it shows up we will be going to pick that b*tch up!!
He and I at Perris

Aren’t four stroke efi all as fast or faster than the carbed models? The only two stroke efi bikes were tpi until now. Tpi doesn’t allow enough time for the fuel to mix with the air at high rpm. Tbi fixes that issue. These bikes also have an electronic power valve which can obviously be tuned to work the best at all rpm. It probably takes some or all of the hit out though which may make it feel slower but actually be faster.

But what about power to weight ratio. The new 4 strokes gained like 7 pounds with the new frame, the new two strokes had to gain 10-12, which is a lot for a 125.

I'm the same way, will probably keep my 19 150 for a few more years at least. Went back to 2 strokes over a decade ago for the simplicity and fun factor. I guess for now, we can always buy the gas gas as for 23 it stayed the same, but surprised they didn't do a 150 gas gas to be honest.

About a ten pound gain for the 125 so about 5% and a little less than half that if you consider with a rider onboard. The Yamaha was already about 5 lbs heavier than the ktm. I guess we will know if the weight gain was worth it after we ride it.

I'd just be happy to get the 150 kit for my TC125 that's been on indefinite back order.

Pretty sure a modern day EFI 4 stroke smashes the last carbed version...

I wish they would bring back the 200-I think it would be a super fun TBI bike. I have a TX300 on order but I honestly love my current 20 model so much that I'm thinking of just keeping it but a small more version might be super fun. Just not sure I want to go all the way down to 125.

But I think prev years 125/150's are better. Based on the reviews prev years have a snappier response than 23.

Trying to steel the 04 cr125,s thunder the electronic power valve. Shame shame on you Ktm. With a little experimenting and pationtions . We found out that it’s multi adjustable pv . When aiming for expert or pro level hard hitting power. The 04 hits much harder than any 125 including the 05-07 cr125. With 0 % valve flutter just a lighting strike hit into 19.9 ft lbs of torque instantly. Where stilll aiming for 20+ lbs of torque. I feel we will reach this # by ceramic coating the pv shaft rollers and double rebalancing the pv flaps.and reflash the acuator. We also cut the cylinder in 3 pieces and added straight side angled transfer ports. But I think the velocity is to extreme . We had to run 3 less tooth sprocket because max case pressure was reached within .00012 seconds. Remember the double boost port already increased velocity by 43.5 %. That spec is super responsive with a sharp and violent hit into a sheaking midrange that pulls incredibly hard to 12,750.
