Help me out guys. The dealer has both bikes at a sweet deal. Sat on both. I really couldn't tell the difference on the lowered FC. How much different can they really be riding wise. I'm ready to flip a coin.

I love the fc but that plastic subframe always scared me. Both gnarly bikes!

I broke the upper subframe on my 17 FC450 but it took a monster hit to do it. I am an xxl guy but never had any problems until I ate shit hard. It was $213 for a replacement. I don't get the fear. You can replace it bit by bit.

You're right. So what I did was I compromised and bought a KTM so I wouldn't even need to think about that.

I’ve heard stories of not being able to find replacements for the husky as well. Not sure if true though.

The Husky is a bit homely looking, but the "softer" setup is better for the majority of riders. High-end riders might be better off with the more rigid and precise KTM.

So you are sure you will never take a hard hit that will bend or break your subframe?

All 3 parts to the Husky subframe are in stock at Rocky Mountain right now.

I'd go with the FC. There is something with them that feels a bit nicer than the KTM.

Do what everyone else does, pick you bike by your favorite rider..whats he riding? 🤣🤣

I’ve had both (21’s) and the KTM is easier to work on the way the plastic fits up. Otherwise it’s a toss up both great bikes!

I like the feel of the '19+ Husky better than the '19+ KTM.

There is already too many orange bikes on the track, go white. I have a '22 FC350, it has been fantastic, and the more I look at it, the more I am happy I went with the Husky (it gets sexier the more you look at it). The fit and finish and small details on the bike are art, and out of the crate, there is virtually nothing other than settings needed for my vet skills to call it perfect, it needs nothing. The biggest selling point on the FC was the seat height, I am 5'7".. The lower seat height and better cornering made that decision a lot easier.

My best description of the difference between the two, one looks young, bright, screams look at me, the other looks mature, refined, and mellow, yet they will perform basically the same. If it was a $7K purchase, color and looks would not be as big of a deal, but MSRP+ in 2021, makes you think a little harder for sure.

One is smooth and forgiving and the other is edgier and a little snappier.

Nobody ever told me, I found out for myself. You've got to believe in foolish miracles. It's not how you play the game, it's if you win or lose. You can choose. Don't confuse. Win or lose. It's up to you!

I am partial to the Husky. I have both a 2020 and a 2021 and the shorter suspension of the newer bike is definitely noticeable. The bike corners better and the 25mm lower seat is definitely a plus with my short legs. I'd say inseam less than 32" get the Husky. Over 32", get the KTM.

Powerband in every gear !

If you race, the contingency is WAY better for KTM. at the series I race it’s 3x better.

Need a little more info here, Loopy...

Tall, short, young, old, (honest) riding ability, intended application? As much as the platforms are similar, there are positives and negatives with both; understanding their differences should make it an easy decision for you. Either way, congrats on the new bike purchase and keep us updated!

the new KTMs look incredible. I didn’t realize how much small aesthetic changes could make a difference but it’s super sleek.

To add to this. Flip a coin, say it lands on bike B, and then you go "man I was hoping it was bike A". Then you know what you wanted deep down.
