No that is probably an upcoming EXC-F. Usually they get the updated a year after the SX bikes so it's kinda strange that this is out there in the open. Maybe KTM is updating both the moto and enduro line ups for 2023?

That shroud needs to be shorter , just don`t look right in my opinion.

Y’all are assuming that is final production shrouds. Could be a disguise like you see in auto industry on new models so often. Or not. Agreed though. Unattractive. And look like they’d be ripped off in first crash. Unless it is just the angle of photo that makes them look like they stick out so far.

I was just thinking the same thing, but I think the KTM "spy" pics of previous models ended up being pretty accurate to the final product.

I hope that's not the case for the 2023 models because that thing is fugly.

No disrespect man, but I've never seen spy shots of 'faux' plastics of these bikes

These manufacturers are not like Detroit manufacturers, what you see is usually what you get in spy shots

I actually like the looks. Slap fluorescent colors on it and its looks laser! Ya, that is a stange item on the side of the black plastic.

I agree. Just like when photos leaked of the 2010 YZ450F and everyone said no way, with hidden cap and "unfinished " looking plastic that had rivets etc. Then the production model looked identical. So I'd bet that is for sure the new plastic mold for the new KTM.

Anyone have those photos. They would be cool to see again

Yeah, molds for plastics are super expensive so no way they made one unless it was the final design.

I guess a big question for a lot of people is whether or not current model Cone Valve's and Trax shocks will bolt right on to the '23 models?

It's most likely the final design, but 3D printed one's could be made for cheap for testing.

I have to agree on that one. I have usually liked KTM designs but this one has been beaten by the ugly stick...

That is a very strange looking bike. I'll wait for some better pictures but the first impression is not positive.

Don't know if someone mentioned it already, but the tank shrouds look like the ones on the new RMZ's.

I don't like those cam chain tensioners.

Presumably it's one of the hydraulic push-up tensioners? What is it you dislike out of interest, the quality?
Principally it's a pretty well proven design elsewhere in high performance bikes as well as cars.
