Last year’s TPI:
This year’s TBI?
Looks like (in other pictures) that they've now elected to use much the same shock and top mount set up on the 2ts. I've not got too close to TMs in the last year or two, my mate that races them moved away, so I'm not sure when they went to that set up on the 2ts.
As ever, TMs are gorgeous machines, and, I could look at their frame builds and welding, for hours. I think, at one time here in OZ, they were cheaper to buy than equivalent model KTMs - I'm not sure of prices now.
The seeming change from TPI to TBI is interesting - I'm sure a few people will have a field day with that.

2021s found on the site. A 300EN FI is listed at $16290, a Carb'd one $15790 -- Yikes! But, I have near the same 'Yikes' with a lot of bike prices, of any brand. Such are the times : the numbers only go upwards.
I wish the Hall family still were the importers of TM. RIP , John Hall.
As for general pricings on 2ts, I've not checked for a while, but, here in OZ we have the bizarre thing where, with most manufacturers RRPs, on comparable capacity and type bikes , the 2ts are priced higher than the 4ts. Cripes, I think Yamaha had higher prices on the YZ250, over the YZ250F!
Our distributors here certainly know how to bleed 2 stroke enthusiasts dry. KTM / KTHusky/ KTGG, especially so. Though, as I pointed out, Yamaha OZ, certainly know how to charge for a slightly updated 2005 model bike.
Pit Row
On checking the models, the ENs (Enduro models) list that oil injection is used. Maybe use of just that can enable them to pass standards, that may be different for a relatively low volume manufacturer, than a far higher volume manufacturing group that is KTM/ KTHusky / KTGG ?
It is interesting that it appears TM have gone from TPI to TBI. KTM tried it on with regards to TPI patents, but a Kiwi (Scurrilous individuals, many with a propensity towards over fondness for Sheep) fellow that goes by 'Uniflow' on KTM Talk ( Quite the Clever Clogs - Bloody hell it's hard for me to praise an Un Zudder, Bounders and Cads that they, largely, are) , had been making TPI type engines, well before KTM. So, KTM did Not get a patent for TPI . His evidence apparently stopped the patent process by KTM, and, gave a free hand for TM, and others, to use TPI.
Anyway, it's all interesting, and I'm for anything that keeps 2ts in production.
" For 2022 we see some new changes and revisions, the most notable being an all-new 6 speed gearbox for all Enduro based variants, new crankshaft mounting tolerances, new wiring harnesses and new exhaust systems. There are also updates specific to the fuel injected variants which include, a new oil mixer tank, new wiring harnesses, a new exhaust system and advancements in the fuel injection system itself for better performance"
