The season is 2 weeks away and the bordem has set in.
Who is your 450 class prediction. I've only added guys I think have any sort of chance. Let me know if I missed someone. Mcelrath, bogle, hartranft and troll think are the best guys left out. But I believe they are 0 chance.

I don't think Ferrandis is strong as last year

I think cairoli will do very well, contest for wins and win. I think tomac will end up winning if healthy.

If Tomac's knee doesn't hold him back, I think he has a pretty good chance at winning it all. When he initially considered switching to Star Yamaha, the first track he rode on the bike was his home moto track, not SX. I don't know the truth of the statement, but he claimed his lap time was instantly a second or two quicker.

We all know that Eli has historically been more of a natural in the great outdoors, and being in a program that suits his preferences and has given him recent confidence creates a great situation for him to rip around these tracks the way he did in '17-'19. Even at the end of last season, he was putting in rides reminiscent of his days of dominance. It was those first two rounds that really took him out of the championship, which were total weirdo races.

By no means do I think he can just dominate the whole series, even if he's healthy. Ferrandis is rested and has had a lot of time to devote to testing/preparing to defend his title. I think those two guys will be the title frontrunners.

Kenny will have a great rounds 1-4 and then fade. I have him winning an overall or two but definitely not the title.

This is Anderson's best chance to win his first 450 overall, and I think he will. However, I just don't see him being consistent through all 12 rounds, which I do expect from Ferrandis and Tomac if healthy.

I think Dungey starts slow, places around 8-12 in the first few races. I could see him getting more comfortable around the midpoint in the season and ending the campaign as a consistent top 5 contender with a couple overall podiums.

I agree, hopefully if Eli's knee is at 70-80% by midway he'll be back to 100% and take it home with some incredible rides like we love to see. Just hope he stays in the fight in the beginning.

He could be ahead of the game by now on the opposite side of the point though.

Eli 100% healthy I’d pick him but I took Ferandis because I think the knee will be an issue

A lot of people forgetting how good Dylan was. He caught, passed, and yarded tomac multiple times last year. As always this is a new year. I would venture a guess and say that Dylan is more prepared than Eli at the moment with injuries and bike setup. I hope we have a great battle with all the lads. Gun to head, Ferandis champion.

On another note, I believe Yamaha has the best outdoor bike for sure. Power, and it handles rough stuff with stability. Other manufacturers such as Honda, ktm are built more for SX

I'd like to see Sexton make a run at it. 5th in points last year. He gets good starts just needs to keep her on 2 wheels.

You guys voting Dunge to win the title are crazy.. There is no way after a 6 year break he is winning the title.

Is this mx season starting of sort of weak? With a lot of guys form unknown?
I think this season the non favourites could have the opportunity to stand up. Guys like Anderson, sexton, mookie and barcia could have a chance of stealing a title.
Ferrandis should be 100%
Tomac could have a stuffed knee
Rozcen well he has roczen issues
Dungey and cairoli there old and retired
If Ferrandis has an issue and the others named suffer from there issues. It could open the door for an outsider.

El Hombre with less votes than Dungey? He's the best rider in the world at the moment folks, and he's not a SX specialist.

Eli will pull out after the first race, Kenny in a few races later.
Mookie will be fast but not consistent, as will Barcia.
Sexton will end his own season.
Ferrandis, I believe is hiding an injury.
Dungie and " the real AC" will win moto,s.
That leaves Jason to easily win the title, with 3 rounds to go.
No, I'm not Jason fan, nor am I a green fan.

I got Poodle Jesus. But if he’s hurt and the title did come down to 21 vs 5, I got Dungey all day every day 24/7 365 over Team Burnt.Sideways

Dont take this too serious… 😁

1. Championship settled with 2 rounds to go

2. Dungey is good, Cairoli is god.

3. Ferrandis is redplate from round 3 (see above).

4. Savatgy finish points higher than JA21

5. Roczen is ”2016” brilliant… in some motos…

6. Mookie, Plessinger, Craig also participates in the national championship… 🙄

7. Dungey top 3 US rider at end of season, races MXoN with Barcia and ?

8. Alex Martin and Hartranft finish top 10 in points.

9. Fast Freddie finish top 15 in points.

10. One fulltime KTM rider messes up, deCoster kidnaps Marchbanks, puts him on a factory 350, rides in clubmx gear, steady top 10… 😎

Oh, if Eli races, he will be good but DF14 wins…

The disrespect for El Hombre... let's see who's on drugs when he's winning in a few weeks. Remember his 5 straight podiums outdoors in 2017? He's better now than he was then.

Couple of things to look at here. Your basing your point off of 2017 or 5 seasons ago. While no doubt the guy is riding really well, he needs to prove it first. Let’s start with his first overall. Then we can talk bigger picture. I for one hope he does, the more guys battling for wins the better. I personally just don’t see him up with Dylan consistently enough to run the title. Ferandis is a BEAST outdoors

I’m sure your gonna be nowhere to be found when this doesn’t come to fruition. El Hombre never has and never will be a contender outdoors

Again with the disrespect. Why would you so heavily doubt a guy riding like El Hombre has lately?

Ando has struggled to put together a full season outdoors. Even 2 Motos on the same day outdoors... But he's fast as shit and to simply count him out is a mistake. We "might" see a whole new El Hombre this year. We can only hope .. more fast guys makes it better.

Cairoli has more votes than Roczen.

Not a great commentary on Roczen, eh?

I dig Kenny, but it is hard to imagine a full season of competitive racing from him based on what we have seen recently...

But no way I count him out either.
