The Shop
I’ve never seen anything other than 13/48 listed. I went with the 49 to help with the low end power out of turns.
Already thinking about picking up a seat cover and graphic kit.
Does anyone know if aftermarket air filters are available? The 250R filter is the same as the 450R.
I'll also wait for some testing with different exhaust, but Akrapovic are what I'm attracted to right now...
Pit Row
-OEM is easier to install, the powerflow add a screw
-OEM style filter are really easy to clean, there is no rubber gromet for a screw, only foam
-Oem is lighter!
-more option for air filter
One thing I will for sure do is remove the backfire screen. Since it is now attached in the airbox instead of on the filter cage, it's is harder to clean and when installing the filter, all your grease is just scrapping on it and clogging it.
Since the filter is now upside down, I don't think there is many risk of any dirt falling in the airboot, that is pretty genius IMO and with the twin air cover, it is a breeze to clean any airbox while powerwashing the bike.
With that said, maybe young boys don't always know the rules in America
From the first ride reviews it sounds like the frame is a little more compliant on the 2022 and the bike more stable so that may help next year when they go back outside.
