2022.5 Gas Gas Factory Edition?

Does anyone know if GasGas is planning on doing a factory edition of the next model bikes like ktm is ? I’ve seen plenty of pictures of the new ktm and man that shroud is hideous. Hoping the GasGas might look a little better if they do one.

There is going to be one. I think they want Barcia on the latest bike so it should be like the KTM/Husqvarna. I think the 23 regular GG will be the current bike.

I can’t remember which podcast but I think weege or JT said that they wanted to do a FE gasgas but it would be a stretch to make it happen with the whole covid material supply shortage shit show so they probably aren’t going to.

It’ll be funny to watch if GasGas wins more on the old bike vs the KTM/Husky guys win on the new one.

KTM has been delivering units. We’re a full month ahead of last years sales and they were a record for us.

I heard there is no GasGas factory edition. Only KTM and husky.

Agreed with above, ride 22.5 KTM, run red plastics and say you ride for GasGas.

Listening to the swap Moto podcast from today, they spoke a bit about the Austrian groups factory editions. They said that Barcia has only been riding on private tracks and that no one is allowed to come and film or take photo's when barcia is there riding. Said it might be because he testing something new or special...

AEO has been building them for their customers for the last two years. There is a 2022 450 model for sale in their showroom now.

Same upgraded components as the KTM FE, only red instead of orange hubs and clamps. - special graphics too.. 13 grand.

I don’t think there will be a 250 FE.

But honestly the 2022 250SXF and GasGas air fork is the one I’ve ever rode. Very impressive!

What does the .5 mean? I'm confused? If it's released in December, where does the .5 fit in to the scheme of things?

Doesnt a FE defeat the purpose of the Gas Gas brand, isn't Gas Gas supposed to be the budget brand of the 3?

0.5 means it comes out after the year before but before then next year, so half way, its really a next  year bike, just early so they can use them in the AMA, they make 400 at least so its called a production bike and allowed to be used.
