Can someone shed some light on the question whether or not the new Rockstar Edition shares the same 10mm lower set up that the 21 production model has. The specs in the manual show a 10mm longer fork than the 21 so that suggests it does not. Looking for verification and reasonable explanation of why they wouldn't have their latest so called improvement in their newest model.

I know the 2020.5 was longer front fork but rear shock was not changed

According to Factory Connection, the length is the same but the stroke and travel of the shock is longer on the 21 RE than the 21 FC. The forks are 10mm longer as well according to Factory Connection and WP specs. No reason given.

21.5 Husky FC450 Rockstar Edition did not get the shorter suspension used on the '21 Husky FC450. Not sure the reasoning behind the decision.

How’s the lowered model compare to the not lowered ?
Depends on which review you read.

I’d just lose it after the first use.

How is it that they ALWAYS manage to hide under the tire/knobbies?

Yes mine is a 2020.5 only the forks are different rear shock was unchanged. The old Trax Shock bolted right up I think on newer ones they have to change something to get the stoke right

According to the manual and others, the 2020 RE suspension is not lowered like the 2021 FC/TC bikes. Forks are 950mm in length. 2021 FC/TC forks are 940mm.

Why do you guys call it a 2021.5, when it's probably actually made in August 2020 (for it to be shipped and delivered to the USA) Never understand this.... It's not from the future.

Most likely because the bikes made in 2020 are 2021 models. And being a factory edition/rockstar edition they most likely have minor tweaks or different things not on 2021 models, so they are a indication of 2022 model changes, hence the 2021.5

OK, that's odd, as Husqvarna themselves don't even refer to it as that.... Just the 'ROCKSTAR Edition'. Never understand American thinkin, just weird!

Would lowering a rockstar edition be as simple as trading suspension with a standard model ? I’m a 58 year old 5’8” intermediate , so I was leaning towards the husky for the shorter set up and mellower power band. Sounds like the lower bike turns better without giving up good handling characteristics. Only need a few of the features of the RE , but for $1000 more , you are getting more than twice of that in goodies. The two dealers near me aren’t even sure if the two versions are different in height , neither had both in stock. I stumbled across this thread while trying to research the bike. Not much out there on the new Huskys. Thanks guys.

I think you could swap suspension and be fine, I know the rear is the biggest issue because if vice versa regular 20 Shock on a 21 will make it hit fender and subframe. My 20 Rockstar turns great but I’m not running AER stuff either. I love the power band it leads to good consistency on the track. I had the 18 Yamaha 450f and 17 crf450 before the husky

To put the shorter suspension on the RE you need the complete linkage to go with the shock. The pull rod and rocker are different.

Thanks guys. Looks like I’m going with the white one. My granddaughter picked out the black one , so I might have to switch up some plastic for her. It’s her mother’s future inheritance that is being spent on the bike 😀. I will be passing this info on to my dealers.

I was hoping this was about a 10mm 1911 with Husky team colors.
