Better than the "make everything green" scheme from Monster cup.

Stunningly gorgeous.

Between Factory Kawasaki and Honda, I can't do the small amount of white background on the side panel... Too much of the main bike color. Come on guys!

I cant tell are the frames and swingers black or just the lighting?

Agreed. Side plates of the factory bikes need more white. PC bikes look good though.

The lighting makes them look that way. They're not black.

Looks good except for the tiny numbers on the side.

I disagree…… I thought AC's bike looked so incredibly awesome and I believe Kawasaki should really embrace having 99% green bikes. The green airbox was a great touch/addition. I wish Kawi woudve kept the MEC lok for the 2020 season. This years Kawasaki kx450sr bikes look boringly the same as last year.

Are they different shades of green?

No accent color = generic packaging.

I disagree. Always loved the extra bit of green on the side panels from this era:

ET3 on kyb and AC on showa...
Maybe its my imagination but looks like AC’s bike silencer is larger than ET.
Maybe AC prefer more smother power than ET

|

12/3/2019 4:19 PM

I like seeing more green and less black. I really like ET's bike.

|

Those number plates remind me of the KX side panels in early 80s. ha

I think you’re right about the silencer 🤔

More green!!

|

12/3/2019 4:56 PM

So glad AC went with the single digit!

|

12/3/2019 5:33 PM

Probably the most stacked 450 team on the circuit I’d say (using the term “stacked” pretty loosely considering there is generally only two riders). Wouldn’t be surprised to see both of them win multiple races this upcoming season.

AC is squirrelly in SX, so he needs the hump to help keep on the bike.

would be perfect if there was a way to get rid of the dripping green thing on the shrouds....

|

As fast as sideplate graphics get chewed up during the day and require trimming, I can see how teams are trying to minimize the background portion.

You can, just cut a check bigger than monster.

Take a closer look. A big portion of the side plate graphics is green vinyl. That said, the lower part where the subframe bolts up appears to just be the green plastic.

It makes sense not to have anything there.

I imagine the day will start with the green vinyl there, but often when the white portion gets trimmed, it leaves some odd-shaped backgrounds.

Here are last year's for comparison...
