Somewhat surprised Phil didn't pick a single digit.
Maybe 54 was Phil's amateur number?
I know 4 was Jeremy Medaglia's number but he hasn't raced so I'm assuming it was made available since he's not on the list.
Being in the 450 class my guess is he had the choice between 4, 7, 8, and 9. Since he passed on a single digit Wright was next in line and choose 9 and Renzland chose 6.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the career numbers. I think they should have kept it like it was under CMRC. Run what you earn with 1-10 for the 450 guys and 11-20 for the 250 guys with the rest of the numbers being assigned to the riders in order of who scored the most points.
Other than that, they'll have to run the number they earned.
