Went to ride me new bike for the first time and I could not get it to idle. No matter what way we turned the screws nothing worked. There was also a loud knocking noise coming from the bottom. Running 93 octane and motorex 2t 60:1. Looking for a lit help to figure this out. When I road it you had to ring it out to keep running but it would die on deceleration. Thanks in advance

There are a lot of videos on youtube about fixing the block gaskets in the Mikunis. JD jetting has what you need to fix it.

Brand new, I'd bring it back to the dealer before much time passes by, and let them know it hasn't ran right since you got it.

My 19 300 wouldn’t idle (I’m at 8k feet) until I made the notch in the slide bigger. What altitude are you at? Stock jetting should be pretty good for sea level. If significantly higher you’ll need to rejet. I’d also do the “Jarvis” mod to the main jet baffle and the float bowl plug. I got noticeably better top end pull, especially in whoops, after that.

Sometimes two strokes don’t like to idle at first but they come around

Would life be easier if I just went with a Lectron from Slavens. I am at 700 ft above sea level

Step one: throw your Mikuni carburetor in the garbage
Step 2: buy a keihin carburetor and install.

Your problem will be fixed.
