Hats off to yamaha every year for not changing a thing on the good ol reliable 2 strokes. The smaller bikes def look good as the YZ85 got a make over. The 4 strokes look solid too but they either changed/had to change so much on them due the amount of issues and features lacked from 2018s. I am a fan of both 2 and 4 strokes but when you compare the 2, you really begin to see that when a bike is done right it never changes and always suceeds.

Well the 2019 YZ85 really doesn't look any different than the 2018.

So that 250f must be the best bike in the class right? KYB- best suspension, Best engine-new bridge box piston now too, most reliable, now elec start and very thin body. What is one downside to this bike now that the plastics are slimmed up?

Looks more like a modified engine, I obviously can't say for sure but it looks like I could bolt the PC pipe and silencer from my sons 2017 right onto the 2019. And the ignition cover looks the exact same. The front fork looks different and appears to have the same coating as the 65 but the rear shocks looks the same. Other than you can see where the power valve is on the right engine case side the motor, frame and plastics all look identical to to son's 2017's.

New swingarm and the chain adjusters look better (i hate the old adjusters)

I have mixed emotions with the new 2019 YZ85, I was really hoping for an all new bike.
