2019 TC250 Wallet Communication

Picked up my dreamy new bike tonight from the great guys at Munn Racing. Last new bike I had was a 2006 KTM250SX, that I also bought from them. Man have bikes changed a lot since 2006! I ordered a Bill's pipe and silencer for it last week. Hoping to have it installed by this coming weekend before we go riding at Cycle Ranch. Was surprised to see that it came stock with an hour meter. And was also not expecting the frame to be dark blue, I like it! The bike stand that comes with the bike also makes a nice fork saver. I put a flywheel weight on it. I had one on my 06 250SX along with a "McGrath" pipe and it was so easy to ride. This bike is noticeably lighter than my 2002 CR250. Looking forward to hitting the track!

Nice bike.
I never quite understand why people buy aftermarket performance add ons before they've ridden the bike though?
Because it needs it.

You will love that flywheel weight. Wish I had one on my 18.

I think that FWW is kind of useless with these 2017-2019 sx/tc bikes because you can make it very smooth with powervalve adjustment and map change. But let us know how you like it!

I love to tinker as much as I love to ride. It isn't a total necessity as I am not good enough to max out the potential of any bike. But, I am just following the formula I applied to my last 250SX. It was so smooth and predictable. The nice thing about this bike is that it has two ignition maps. So factor in the maps, the flywheel weight, pipe, and powervalve springs, this bike can be tuned to anyone's liking.

Flywheel weight gave me more traction, which equated to less arm pump. Pipe gave me more overrev, which meant less shifting. Tuning the powervalve with the springs and adjuster let me dial in the hit. I'm not the best rider, so I'll take any advantage I can.

I'll let you know. My local track is rock hard black dirt that is dusty and slick.

I run a clutch weight on my 17, works great and still plenty of hit if you want it.

You'll love it. Got my '18 from Chip, great folks there. Fun bike to tinker with as well. Put Kreft PowerDial , FMF pipe/silencer and VForce on mainly because got an awesome deal on the VF and pipe. Bought the FMF 2.1 cause it looks cool and was amazed how much lighter it is vs stock.

So you buy a pipe to give it more power, then a flywheel weight so it has less power?

I was under the impression that these bikes came with VForce 4 from the factory?? Am I mistaken?

Congrats. I have an 18 and been thinking about getting a 9oz FWW. I also have a bills pipe. Let us know how it feels. The pipe made the low end really aggressive and i want to just make it as smooth and usable as possible. Ive messed with the pv and got it where i like it. Also threw in the jd jetting kit and 49 tooth sprocket which help tremendously.

Yes... that was a few years back. Their own set up now, some say they work, others say no. I say ride it first.

Gonna ride it first before I go shooting at it with the Money Gun some more.

Im sure you are aware of the powervalve springs, but nonetheless, the red spring one turn in from flush is the hot set up

Well? How does the bike run with the FWW? Do you get down to Cycle Ranch much?

Being average is not good enough when you can improve.
