Can anybody tell me if the xc new plastics are compatible with the xc-w models? I think the new xc 2019 looks better than the xc-w.
The 2019 XC plastics and seat are all new and will not fit (other than front fender-no change) on the 19 XC-W.

It looks like the EXC (popular in Australia) doesn’t get the new frame??
If this is the case, it seems unfortunate based on the above review!

Nice bike I would love to ride a 300 on a motocross track. I just got the 19 125 and it ran good up too but was spuddering down low. Dropped the needle one notch and it’s running better but I still feel it can be better.

JD jet kit got me about where I needed to be. I still need to go to a 27.5 or 25 idle from the 30 JD recommends.
The needle profile is 100% different than stock

All the chassis updates from the 450 Factory Edition (frame stiffer in torsion, updated swingarm, radiators lower, new plastic with thinner front and a little sleeker rear, new airbox and air boot, PV tweaks, all new pipe). Jetting was same as 18 300XC so stock is rich - I just use the option needle in 2nd position and might go on leaner on main since it is pretty warm and humid here in Ohio now.
Hey OP, been a few months now. What do you think of the bike still?

Not fuel injected for 2019?
They might not ever put it on the motocross versions. It actually doesn;t provide more power, just makes the bike run more efficiently. The main reason for the technology was in Europe to stay on top of new emission and fuel regulations. The XC was built for motocross and closed circuit tracks. The fuel injection adds weight and electronic thingys to go wrong during a race. The only reason I bought XC instead of the XC-W it in 2014 was the linkage and closer gears pretty much, now that the Husky has the linkage and want an offroad/trail bike, 300ti BRO. First thing I would get for the 300XC is the Lectron carb!

I also have the 2019 and love it. The pipe placement is really nice. I raced TKO without a pipe guard (They didn't make one yet) and figured I'd be replacing it after the race. Not a single ding!

I did have to drop the needle one position to make it run clean. Made all the difference (in IA). Zero hassle with the carb after that.

The forks are amazing. Better than my completely reworked fork and shock on my 17.

Good choice. You will love it.

So you went from a KTM XC to a Husky300 Ti? Whats a Ti?

I do Current year 300xc & 450SXF every year for my race machines.
I really had my 17 dialed in on jetting, working with 18 now, just an hour on the bike- vforve, RK-Head, Carb notch. Pipe is really tucked in & fixed much better, added flange protector, plastic is nice & streamlined, bummer old seats don’t fit. I train @ 5000ft.
Put 50hr on a 300tpi last year in France. Really just do not like PDS explore so xc is the choice. Debated on a 300i husky for just a sec.

If we're all posting pictures, here's my 2019 300 XC. I came off of a 2013 250 XC with Ohlins TTX shock and fork and a bunch of other tweaks. Only 5 hours on it, but so far, I can't get over how good this bike is, just resprung for me. (215 in street clothes) And while my buddies with '17s had serious issues with the mikunis, we're all shocked how well the TMX works on the '19 bike... Not sure what all has changed, but for some reason, it works now!

Nice stable there! Those are KTM's 2 best models IMO, and obviously you agree. I assume you are a very high level competitor?

I have the white version. Did some mods to the carb I found on TT and it runs really strong. Also did a 1.25mm base gasket and an RK Tek head. The power it like an electric motor its really fun!

Flo plastics on my 19 and a Lectron. Still need to play with it a bit. Sent my suspension off for cone valves to NOST the other day! Super excited to see how it will work.

FLO looks good, let me know how you like the CV forks. I have used dal Soggio spheres & love them. Bit cold here for my new bike. I keep riding my 450.

Where you going for it? Or rough price? I’ve been looking too hahah. Having a toss up right now between the 2020 250xc TPi and a TM

19 XC300 8700.00 out the door, not sure if that is good or not, not too many leftover XC 300”s around ... I have had a few XC 300”s, I like them for GNCC type riding. I don’t like what I have read about the tpi bikes...

Doesn’t sound too bad. I’m not sure either on price. I was quoted 9400 on a 2020 tpi today. Sounds like a decent price for that bike but a little out of my range right now. May have to sell the yz. I’ve been doing some netra and jdays and am getting hooked on the woods stuff so estart and counterbalancer are calling my name. Have also been seriously eyeing the TM’s as well. Idk what to do haha

TM's are the best they have ever been. They really made a big jump forward last year.

Carb, CB and KYB's with a steel frame on the new Beta's.

You would have to have the suspension redone for a jump filled track, but a natural terrain track would be fine. My last XC300 Was a 2015, I used it for Mx practice more than anything, I had The suspension setup for MX, +1 on rear sprocket , FMF Fatty with MX silencer, bike was very capable on an MX track.

As far as I know they will not. 19 pipes have a different shape. I have a FMF spark arrestor on mine that I had to wait for because it was different from the 18. Also I think 8700 is a decent price OTD. A dealer here in AZ is doing $8400 OTD for leftover 250xc's but no 300s to be found. That's a pretty rare leftover in my experience, most dealers here cant keep the 300s in stock. I paid $9900 otd (10% AZ sales tax and $25 OHV tag included) for mine back in September of last year. I love this bike but I ride offroad, no track. The only other bike I would consider at this point is the 2020 Beta race edition with counter balancer and KYBs but you'' probably be over $10000 for one of those any time soon., I would not consider a TPI KTM but that's just me.

Thanks for your input...I have a nice FmF pipe & silencer on my 18250SX, thought maybe it would cross over. I don’t think the 300”s sell as well as the 250 here in the northeast, maybe due to the tighter terrain? I guess I need to make a move on this bike, might not last much longer....

I've ran my 18 300xc for practice. My bike rips, it has a Rk tek head, smart carb, vforce 4 and I use the red spring. All I do is adjust my suspension. It is the most versatile bike I've ridden. I really like riding tracks with it.

I say offer em $8000 and go from there! Lol. I don’t think you could be anything but ecstatic over the 300. I’m coming off a 450 and the 300 feels like a mountain bike with an engine. I couldn’t imagine riding a 250sx in the tight stuff but that’s just me. A few lbs lighter yes but the hit on the sx seems like it would wear you out. I’m using the stock pv spring and it doesn’t have a huge hit which I like because the bike doesn’t want to jump out of your hands and stand straight up when you’re trying to navigate something technical.

My 250 SX was moto only, I know guys convert the SX to woods bikes but I don’t see the point, the XC”s have it covered IMO... Sold my last XC 300 2 years ago when I lost my woods riding spots....I miss the woods so I”m getting another & will find some good places to ride it, like in a different state!
