I haven't seen anything. And i doubt anyone in the EMX300 class will be on one at Valkenswaard.

Thank you very, very much Fiz!.

Bike looks great, it's the first 19 I have seen, just having a good look to see changes from the 18...(anyone, anyone).

Great pics also of the racing, looks a great track.

Thanks for taking the time out to post up, and welcome to the forum, awesome first post.

Bodywork and aluminum motor mounts are the first things that stand out to me.

Looks sexy other than the radiator shrouds, they look like an afterthought compared to the rest of the bike.

I have to question this. That pipe looks a lot like a 500 pipe. Additionally, no orange frame?

That looks like a full on production model to me. KTM usually only does the orange frame on factory editions and the last model year of the chassis.

Is your squish within spec, bet it isn't. If you really want that bike to run properly best check it.

Looking forward to a ride report, and info from anyone who has rode an 18 please.

I have my 300 but am really interested in a low hour 18 that I have been offered, this whole counter balancer thing I have been reading up on does interest me a lot. No one I know has one so I can try it out against my 300 so will be a case of asking here and see!.

Roll on the good weather and some track time.

This is funny I saw this since the only time I shattered gears in a transmission was on a Yamaha.

I've had multiple ktm 2 strokes, from a 2009 250XC, '13 150, and a '16 300 now....I've had zero issue with transmissions on these bikes, or hell any problems for that matter. When one person has an issue on the national scene the bikes get blasted and labeled as bad....just like the frames on the raggedy ass YZ's. Are YZ's bad? nope....I've got one of them as well....shut the hell up and ride.

Ya exactly, the old ass yz was a great bike overall. That was a costly one though.

The tranny issues are on the 16+ 125 and 250f's.

The other bikes seem to be ok.

I got a 06 yz 250 and they are known for wearing out the gear dogs on 3rd n 4th gears. Multiple people have had this happen but peeps sure love to throw ktm under the bus and ignore this transmission flaw with the yz 250. It's a design flaw only has 3 gear dogs when it should have 4.

I had it happen on my yz at least once so far myself.

So it seems like 18s arent getting discounted very much yet. Any one have a clue if they will be getting rebates soon? Cousin is looking for a new tc or 250sx and best hes found is 7650 out the door. Id have thought under 7 maybe 65 with the 19s being new

In my area, the 18s were 6499 not too long ago. I am getting my 19 Husky in Tuesday, looking forward to it. The Pankl transmission and DDS are worth paying for.

Same here with my YZ250. I talked to Tom Morgan and he recommended using “Redline Shockproof lightweight gear oil” to prevent that from happening. Can get it from Summitracing, it’s about $17/quart, but don’t have to change it as often, can go 10-15 hours before changing it

Just picked up the 19 the dealer said to run 50:1 but the book is telling me 40:1 with 98 octane. Anyone have any info or tips for this bike yet?

Start at 40:1. Thats what the KTM 125/150 manuals have said for a loooooong time. Cant see it changing, especially since the motor is esentially the same as the 16-18 (minus the published tweaks)

Just run what the manual says. I believe it’s a little different for each octane level.
