New to this forum, but I need some help!!!!
Bought a 2019 FC 450 with about 45 hours on it, and it was mint condition from what I could see. Had a small wipeout the other day were I lost the front end and I fell. When I went to pick up the bike the rear fender was loose, and then I noticed the subframe was broke. Phoned my local dealer and they said there is a new subframe "kit" that will be coming available as of May 18th. Apparently this kit is both sides and is made of new material for 615 dollars. Ouch. This is my first Husqvarna, and I love the bike for the 4 hours that I have rode it, but are the subframes this weak? or was it a case of the subframe maybe being cracked already when I bought it and I just didn't notice? All I know is if these bikes are this fragile, I think ill be sending it down the road to buy something with an aluminum frame that will bend but not break. What is eveyones expirece with this?

I stand to be corrected....
Ps. The bike is certainly not fragile. We ran Husq for 3 years and have seen our bikes cartwheeling down the track a few times and never had a sub go. I call it bad luck.

In saying that I have broken the subframe on my TC125 and my FC350. They aren't necessarily weak but they will break if you land heavy on them. It took a massive crash to break the subframe on my 125.
