Results from those that have the 18s are pretty good.

The Chinese stuff has came a long ways! I rode one of our SSR250s the other day. Actually wasn't that bad. Turned decent, but it isn't winning any HP shootouts LOL!!

Pitster Pro has built a solid reputation in the pitbike industry. Makes sense to branch out in the 2 stroke field.

Even if it isn't a complete turd who is really gonna spend $5,500 for this when you can get a yz250 with legit and easily replaceable componets for $7500?

I was thinking the same thing.

I think an MSRP of $3500 would be more realistic. Even at $3500 I'd rather buy a used bike for $2000 and put $1500 into it. For $5500 it can collect dust in a warehouse

Agreed, I don't see this being competitive price-wise at any level. Even if it cost $2500 a KLX110 would probably be a better alternative haha.

Not everybody wants a used bike. People piss and moan about bike prices, well here is an option. What and where do you expect a cheap alternative to come from? Probably get it cheaper than MSRP too.

I would much rather piss and moan about jap/euro bike prices than pay chinese prices and wind up with a blown up bike you cant get parts for.

Not the same... Time to get past that could say the same thing about Japanese cars from the early days.

I don't trust the judgement of anybody who would buy one of those in the first place.

I'm not going to go into Japanese automotive history with you but that is a terrible comparison. Sorry, I'm done now.

I heard they feel/are heavy. But still for half the price of a YZ 2T, who's complaining?

That is fine, clearly you have no clue about this bike and what had gone into it with purchased Yamaha miles, etc. Stay in your Pep Boys mindset, idgaf.

I could care less, dopes like you who probably have an assload if made in China bike parts, but feel ok about because they have a name brand on the packaging. I forgot that this place is full of keyboard experts with bloated self worth. King Parrot should be the Vital bird.

If one of the powers to be came on here and said these bikes were worth considering, you guys would latch on like a nursing baby.

A-fucking-men. Y'all go ahead and huck one of those communist chinese POS over SX triples or Laroccos Leap all ya want, l won't stop you but you'd be foolish to do so. These are the same people that sold poisonous toothpaste and drywall that got people sick but yeah, they're legit.

Shit we've had a rash of frame breaks with KTMs and Yamahas and those come from companies that can be successfully sued. Good luck getting recompense from Communist China when you cheap ass chinese POS breaks in half on the second small jump you clear.

If you have been in this sport for a few decade's , you'll remember going back about 45 year's , and almost everyone laughed at how the Japanese would never make a good dirt bike. And right about that time , they took fire and engulfed this sport so fast , nobody saw it coming. I know it's the " normal " thing to do , is to laugh at the Chinese bikes .....but honestly , I wouldn't be so quick to do that in this day and age.

In fact.....if we could fast forward to about 5 - 10 year's from now , I don't think many people will be laughing at their bike's , if they are serious about making them. With that being said , we will all have to sit back and see how thing's develop.

OH....and for what it's worth. I probably won't be buying one in my life time. I've been happy with my Japanese and Austrian made machine's , so I see no reason to switch. But again.....I would not put it past the Chinese people to come out with a good product , if that is what they were shooting for.

Going back 45 years would be 1973. Elsinores were already crushing Euro offerings, Yamaha introduced the Monoshock that year, and DeCoster was World Champion aboard Suzuki

I saw those guys on Instagram (pitster pro/GPX) and started following them. They attempted to do a big off-road ride in Idaho a month or so ago and were promoting it on their feed, kind of like a "follow along as we do this big ride the next few days!" I remember thinking: well this will be interesting.

One day in they claimed a deep river crossing took the bikes out or something like that. Who knows.
