2019 CRF250R RUNS HOT

Got a 2019 that runs hot, it boils over with less than 5 min. On the stand. After the fact I’ve read all kinds of horror stories of the 18, please don’t tell me they didn’t fix the issues. Any suggestions will be helpful thank you in advance. Oh anyone running more oil in there 19’s?

Moto Hose has an upgraded "Y" hose kit that helps.

One of my friends also owns a crf 250 2019. The bike runs sooo hot. Even the frame gets hotter compared to my 2019 kxf 250. Also when the bike is too hot the eletric start won’t make her start.. He needed to change a sensor.
Whoever is buying a honda this days knows he’s getting in some troubles. Which MX bike could have 2 pipes.. come on.. oh, and yami too. Awesome suspensions but the reversed engine tho.

I don't have any advice on what to do but why would the bike sit idle on a stand for 5 minutes? Surely any bikes is going to get too hot idling away with no cool air running through it

Yup, you're not supposed to do that especially with a 4 stroke. Really bad.

RIDE THE BIKE!!! 4 strokes will over heat after 5 minutes on the stand and no air flow through the radiator. They don't need to warm up like a 2 stroke. Get ready start your bike and ride. Don't let it sit and rev it up.

We make a radiator fan kit for 2019-2019 CRF250R and RX. It reduces the engine temperature. A lot of racers (and prominent race teams) are buying this fan kit.

You must have air flow over and through the radiators for it to cool. Running on a bench for even 2 minutes is not good. If you must run it on the stand, then get a high speed floor fan and run it pointed at the radiators while doing so.

Yep it's one of the biggest mistake they made for the start of a race, heat the bike up like a 2T.
A 4T has the most power when it's not so hot and it doesn't need to burn clean like a 2T.
Just start the bike at 30 sec let it idle until the 5 sec and you got the most power.

I get the Honda running so it’s warm then I go ride. 60 seconds on the stand then warm up lap and run it. Never had any overheating issues.

I run +100cc of oil over stock.
