Anyone had problems with the 2019 Yamaha 250f? I can get an 18 for a lot cheaper just seeing if it’s worth it to buy the new 19.

If you can get the 18 for 2500 less go for it, if not go for the new one. My 2 cents

I love my 2018. If I the ‘18 is cheaper and you don’t mind kicking a bike, get it. Take the extra money and do suspension

I was all for 19s until I got a link for my 16. Went from disliking it to loving it and made it have a balenced feel like the 19.

I had 16 and 17 250f’s and than went to the new 18 450 last year. Personally liked the older style better. Jumped on a 16 250 after riding my bike all year at the end of the season and was spinning faster lap times on it and it wasn’t even set up for me. All preferences...they slimmed the bike down to make it feel better for smaller riders, but I always liked the “bulkyness” of it. Good luck and keep us updated on your decision!

My son loved his '18. Did not want a '19. Once we got the '19 and he got some timeon it, he could not believe how much more grunt the '19 had over the 18. Plus the electric start. You may be able to get a good deal onone, but your also going to get way less when you go to sell it. ,

I never rode the 18 but I have the 19 and love it. My buddies were talking crap about yamaha's the whole way to the track because they're too wide and blah blah blah. We get to the track that was 2.5 hrs away to find it completely roached out, at the end of the day I told my buddy who has always rode honda's and has a 2017 to hop on my bike. He did about 3 laps and said it was the best bike he ever rode. Couple days later his bike is for sale and now he has a 19 YZ250F, and he's the cheapest bastard I know when it comes to selling and buying crap. He usually would never take less than he ask for a bike or pays more than he plans for a bike and he went against everything he stands for to get this bike.

Id like to know too. What exactly did it change? I'd like a better turning feel on my 17.

I used the one from factory connection. I looked around and they were all the same dimensions.

It was a zeta adjustable one I got off a member here. For me the bike turned fine and still does I noticed it gave me the feel I was looking for which was the front not pushing when coming into corners and in ruts.
