Im not sure if a 250f is different but i went from a 2016 yz450f to a 17 450sxf and the ktm is actually wider in the tank/shroud area. I noticed it the first few times when i rode the ktm especially when putting my leg out to corner. I dont think you can go wrong with either bike though.

Welll are you winning on that wide feeling Yamaha? If still unsure.....Yamaha 250f is the choice of non-factory riders in the nationals by far...so what do you think? ....and didn't do too bad at Lorettas.
Have you considered the cycra shrouds that are skinnier? I might buy them. They're only about $100.

Quotes:
1. "I like my Yamaha". There you go. Answered.
2. "Any suggestions". I'd suggest at least an attempt at punctuation. Your post is genuinely difficult to read/understand.
I guess we could say "you have a 2015 YZ250".
Do you have spare wheels for your YZ? Another reason to stay Blue.
Cycra shrouds always seem recommended, and again above.
This. 2018 is the last year of both bikes generations. I would either try to get the 2018 Factory Edition or just stick with the Yamaha that you're used to.
Or just wait 1 year for the 2019 bikes.
