get an FMF Fatty pipe and Shorty silencer, you'll want to pick up a mop too if there are going to be any women within ear-shot of that fuckin' beast

I prefer the PC works pipe with the shorty. Slap a Vortex ignition on it and watch it sing.

When we where in the 125 years it seemed to us the FMF pipes had better bottom end and the PC's worked better up top! We stuck with FMF's!

HGS makes the best yz125 pipe. It basically mimics the stocker all the way through the rev range and then adds power at peak

What do you ride? MX I'd get the FMF Fatty. Offroad I'd get the FMF Gnarly.

Peelys got it figured out. Also, pick up some 110 race fuel and mix 50/50 with pump gas just for the smell.

The world is your oyster.....they all look good to me Smile ...the hgs and doma work well on the yz125......would'nt know for sure what the best combo is though.....kinda hard to prove really.....as everybody's riding style/preference is different...

I had a 2016 for awhile, the stock pipe actually performs best overall, instead of robbing from the bottom end or mid, there's an MXA test that also mentions this. I ran a PC R304 for the silencer. Perfect setup IMHO.

This is why we run on our yz125s. Strip the paint and sand off the stamped lettering. We used high temp clear to reduce the maintenance of bare steel.

HGS, that is the pipe to get if you're on a 2 stroke.

Shorty makes low to mid snappy power, why would you do that to a 125? Got to add power to the top, only place on a 125.

Peelout is right on here can never go wrong with a fatty. had a lot of fast 125's but my favorite was my yz125 with fatty and shorty silence, vforce3 reeds with about a quarter inch reed spacer. I've had faster 125s but that yz pulled from bottom to top, great woods bike.
