2018 crf 450 battery tender

Just picked up a left over 2018 CRF 450R yesterday and was wondering can I use a regular battery tender on this or do I got to go get a special one for the lithium battery?

You have to use one with a lithium option on it. You dont need the real expensive ones, but for like $39 battery tender has one that has two settings on it.

You have to use one with a lithium opinion on it. It does not need to be the expensive ones they try to sell you. Battery tender makes one with a lithium mode on it for like $39.
