Man , excuse me for being stupid here , but I thought the track that's all by itself off the parking lot was the REM track? I rode the main GH track when I was there , and they were racing as well on the other track , which people called REM. In this video , you're calling it REM? Confused on what I should call each track here.
You are correct. The small track is REM, this is a race they do on the main track pre-Vet Worlds. It’s like a test race for...

So in that video , that isn't considered REM right? Just GH main track?

Yes it’s called WORLD vet. Couldn’t believe how many folks from around the WORLD were there participating last year. It’s a pretty big deal if you have never been. I originally thought it was a Cali thing but its not.

REM is used more times than not when talking racing on the weekends at GH outside of the national.

I understand registering is separate. But are the points combined for both days? Or is the racing on Saturday entirely separate than the racing on Sunday...

Each day is scored separately.

I wish they had an overall championship like Mammoth. I’d probably race both days if they did.

So then why race on Saturday? Bragging rights? Just for fun?

Sounds like i'll just be racing on Sunday, then. Is that what most people do? (Unless you are racing 40+ Pro or something that is on Saturday only).

Never been so I have no idea what it's all about but being my first time at 47 it's only for the fun for me. Going to be a beautiful day Sunday, see you there. ?

I'll just be getting my suspension back end of the week or next week so it's a no for me. I had more fun than I thought I would racing GH last year though and would like to go back.

I’ll be there Sunday to spectate. I’ll be on the lookout for Bryan. Curious to see how the Alta does on the hills of GH.

Bryan......one thing here , since you haven't been there on the Alta. You won't have any problem's on those hill's. I was actually surprised how hard my 125 ripped up those hills. Hard enough that I had to get on the brake's pretty hard just to make a few of the corner's up top. Gawd I wish I could come down for this!

Oh, i'm not worried about having the power to get up the hills. In fact, i'll probably get up the hills better than most on my MXR! I raced the 2 stroke championships on my '04 KX125 earlier this year and the bike did fine.

I'm most worried about getting the suspension dialed for the rough stuff with such little practice time before the motos.

Just a heads up, i called Lori at GH about reg being closed a day too early. Looks like they fixed it. Go ahead and sign up if you havent!

They are open until 10 PM on Thursday so I imagine it will be the same all weekend
