Interesting that this race falls on the same weekend as the Prospectors GP, Big 6.

Im heading down from NorCal. Looked at the REM October-cross track and times. They said it was similar via a instagram post. Hope to have a fun weekend. Cheers

Still trying to decide if i want to. I haven't ridden the MXR at Glen Helen yet.

So is it 1 moto on Saturday and 1 moto on Sunday? It just seems like a long 3 days for a little practice and 2 motos.

Also, looks like dubya has their posting wrong. Glen Helen lists the 1st class fee at 50$ between Oct 2nd - 31st, not 60$.

Hey man, I'll take it Laughing

Almost no one that holds races locally has a 25+ class. I was so stoked to find out that I can race OTHG now!

Oh man.....I so freakin' wish I could do this right now. It's the perfect time of year ( work has slowed down a bit ). Not picking up my 19' race bike for next season for another week or two.

Is this race commonly done this time of year? And when / what time of year are the other big vet races done there?

South. You’re in Bako right?

It changed this year I believe. Your age as of December 31st of the current year. 28-38 for 30+ class. Another vital member made me aware

why don't they call it a 28-38 or 28+ class then? That's so dumb.

I’d have to think that they did that to try and get more guys to come out. Which worked for me Laughing

Here is a gopro of the track from REM last Saturday. Supposed to be 75% of what the track will be. The 180 a few corners from the start will keep everyone nice and tight.

Man , excuse me for being stupid here , but I thought the track that's all by itself off the parking lot was the REM track? I rode the main GH track when I was there , and they were racing as well on the other track , which people called REM. In this video , you're calling it REM? Confused on what I should call each track here.

You are correct. The small track is REM, this is a race they do on the main track pre-Vet Worlds. It’s like a test race for everyone.

Each day is its own race. Practice and 2 Moto’s per day.
Wait, so when you are registering you pick a day?

So is 30+ Saturday separate from 30+ Sunday? Or is it a 4 moto format?

Also, how many laps for each moto?

So in that video , that isn't considered REM right? Just GH main track?
