TEUTSCHENTHAL (Germany) 16 May 2018 - After the successful North America’s Live television coverage of the Latvian round of the 2018 FIM Motocross World Championship, CBS Sports Network, the official TV broadcaster of the series in U.S. and Canada, will continue its LIVE airing for the MX2 and MXGP class also for the two upcoming rounds scheduled respectively at Teutschenthal, Germany on May 20th, and at Matterley Basin, Great Britain on June 3rd.


The broadcasting formula will remain the same with one-hour show per class consisting in Highlights of each MX2 and MXGP’s first Race, followed by the complete Live Coverage of the two final Races.

The Live showtimes in U.S. and Canada for the MXGP of Germany and the MXGP of Great Britain will be as follows:

MXGP of Germany, May 20th

MX2 Class:

Highlights of Race 1 + Live Coverage of Race 2 at 10:00am ET (7:00am PT)

MXGP Class:

Highlights of Race 1 + Live Coverage of Race 2 at 11:00am ET (8:00am PT)



MXGP of Great Britain, June 3rd

MX2 Class:

Highlights of Race 1 + Live Coverage of Race 2 at 11:00am ET (8:00am PT)

MXGP Class:

Highlights of Race 1 + Live Coverage of Race 2 at 12:00am ET (9:00am PT)

Could it eventually become SX year round for the USA and the outdoor MX being a world wide GP based program phasing in US based riders who want to ride MX?

I don't see where "live" makes much difference as long as it's same day. Most people are busy, and they probably just put it on the DVR. I have the MXGP-TV package, and I don't even watch that live.
