Was just about to post asking if there was live coverage of this event, I see there are some of the postcard videos on Youtube they normally do, so was getting my hopes up, but cant see anything on the MXGP site about coverage.

Out of interest, what would the cost of a live broadcast be? Both the technical costs (connection etc.) as the shooting of the images?

Fuckin ball of string down here mate. Half the country has internet that would have been slow in the 2000s.

you can get live timing on the speedhive/mylaps app,

first practices are done, no Aiden Tijero in the results,

Couldn't they work together with the Aussie Promotors who bring us their livestream of their championship...

my guess is cost being the factor, its a club putting it on, and it would not be cheap to broadcast from country australia,

Proud of this little girl , Lotte van Drunen ..first she beat all dutch talented kids and became first female ever to become dutch MX champ and now she was 2 in race 1 and 8 in race 2 at the worldchampionship

not bad for a girl at a worldchampionship Woohoo

Looking at the 125cc results i see 3 riders not from Europe or Aussi/NZL.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to hold the championship in Europe, which saves the european federations a massive amount of money, and have them chip in like 25% or 50% of their savings and invite and pay for the best riders from non-EU countries to race the championship?

There must be a bunch of talent in the US, canada, south america and asia that isn't participating right now, who would be able to compete in that scenario, and you'll have more talent from Europe participating as well.

Yeah i agree. Thats why i suggest to put the money together so the best youth riders from all over the world can race the event in stead of missing out on north america, south america, asia etc like we do in this event

So with your logic Herlings will not be a true World Champion this year?

Tell me where i wrote or een suggested that the winners of this event are not a true world champion.

All i'm saying is that it is a shame that not more countries with their best talents can make the trip due to costs, and i suggest a different location and $ spread so that more countries & riders can join.
