FYI - Moto Hose is making a new cooling hose design for both the 250 & 450 to update the cooling system like the Honda GP team has been using for years for better cooling.
How about a discount code now that they are out?

It's $20, let the manufacturer make a little profit...

In outdoors last year we switched to a high pressure cap and engine ice it helped a lot not sure if your loosing coolant but it stopped that problem.

It’s almost 200 bucks for the y kit, don’t know where you got 20 bucks from.

He’s referring to the discount, it would be 10% off meaning saving $20. Support em and pay retail once in awhile. I agree discount are always nice but with small companies we need to help keep em afloat cause they work thier asses off to stay in this nitch industry

had this issue on my 18 Husky FC250. was a pain in the A**. Ended up putting an aftermarket radiator cap and drained the system and put in Evans coolant. Problem seemed to be solved.

Yep, stiffer radiator cap is one of the first things I add to any bike. What makes you think it’s running hot? Losing coolant? If so, how much?

Hi guys been busy repping at the Pro Nationals.

Let’s compare Apples to Apples.

Moto Hose is the only company in the world that has worked on the CRF over heating issue and offered it to the public. The Moto Hose CRF Works kits are a LOT more than just radiator hoses. The CRF250R and CRF450 Works kits include Silicone Y Radiator Hoses, Colored gas cap, Colored Radiator overflow hoses and also special clamps.

Moto Hose Honda CRF450 Works Y Hoses have been on Noren, Lamay and Short Hondas finishing in the top 20 weekly and even top 10.

Compare our Y hose prices to CV4 & Samco prices any day and you will see we are always much less expensive.

We keep our prices lower so everyone gets a deal without having to have a discount code.

I would first look at mapping, but in the mean time you should add a higher pressure cap and coolant catch-tank.
I build them out of pvc tubing for about $10.00 .....Evans coolant is a good choice as well.

Does anyone know what Honda did to address the problem on the 19' and 20'?. I know in the past on a supercharged mustang Mobil 1 synthetic oil would drop the water temperature down about 8-10 degrees over conventional oil which is a good bit. We did back to back test just to make sure.

Not sure about the 2019, but the 2020 has a larger left radiator
