Word on the street is the 2018 CRF250, or its works prototype, will be raced next weekend at the Japan National in Hiroshima.

According to the link I posted, it appears HRC is pulling Team Advisor Takeshi Katsuya off the bench to ride the new works CRF250RW.

I thought that was odd, because they didn't have a 250 rider at RD1, HSR since Nozuka went to the GP's and they brought back Yamamoto to fill his space in the paddock with Narita. That meant only running 450's this season.

I hope it's gained some serious power. Looks like it's going to weight more than the previous model, especially if it comes with Spring forks and electric start

Iimagine the cost of having to put a complete exhaust system on it, 2 Headers and 2 Exhausts. Just imagine what a full Ti-System would cost.
