If the counterbalancer hasn't already made your choice for you...(and, imo, it absolutely should have) here's what I think
unless you have to be different there is no reason to buy anything other then a KTM. they are all good bikes...have good race results, good consumer reviews, and all of them are built and assembled to a very similar standard.
I have ridden the GG, and the Beta, and I can tell you (I have 2 TX300's, and have owned a handful of KTM 300/250's), there is nothing weird about them or anything. They all feel lightweight, have stout bottom-end response, conservative wheelbases, and for the most part, felt completely normal.
one thing to think about is parts supply. another thing is aftermarket support. KTM has a huge advantage here, even compared to Husky. I can't even get an aftermarket tank for my Husky. If it was KTM XC 300 there are no less then 7 options available for aftermarket tanks.
If I had to do it again, I would have just got the KTM instead of the Husky for better aftermarket support. My decision to go Husky was related to aesthetics.
