The provisional calendar for the 2017 World Motocross Championship was released today and it has the MXdN listed to be in the US, but it says TBA next to the venue, which is weird because I thought it was nailed on that it was going to be at Glen Helen. However, Matthes tweeted earlier saying that whilst he was way Mantova, he had heard that the MXdN would be at Red Bud, and the fact that it says TBA maybe confirms that.
I guess we'll know soon, but if it is at Red Bud then I think it's a great move. It's one of the best tracks in the world and it's probably the best track for atmosphere in the US

raucous - adj. [raw-kuh s] - rowdy; disorderly
The Shop
I'm no great fan of Glen Helen as a track, but Feldcamp and Co have put in a lot of effort into the various GPs they've run, for buggerall return - they deserve the decent pay day that they'd get from an MXDN.
Holy shit I hope it happens, it would be the most epic MXON of all time!
if this is true the hottub will make a return
Pit Row
I would go for sure.
Where are they going to build the track?
I see No Problem with that. Motocross is supposed to be run on a variety of terrains.
There are tyres made for different conditions, and, the highest level riders should be able to ride any Outdoors terrain.
It looks a damned sight better to me as a track than the sort of thing coming soon at Charlotte, and what we see at Thailand and Qatar.
