Considering some of the bikes I see for sale and people asking 5 k for them, this is a great deal. Old platform, but yeah, Kenny had very little problems winning a MX title with it.

Anyway...pretty sweet. Though I would share. Cool for the Peick fan as well.

That’s a good deal. I bet you could get it for $6,500 all day.

Really cool bike, but I am concerned that the service intervals on a full mod motor would bury you.

Definitely cool but depending on the extent of the motor mods it could be a time bomb or slower than a stock ktm/husky. I'd choose a fresh used Austrian bike over this any day.

Lol not sure how motor mods equate to having less power than a stock bike? Do you know Mike Hunt by chance, Jack?

My KX 125 is modded and still slower than a brand new KTM.

Saying that, I do not think a 450 is too slow for anyone.

Yeah but there’s 15 years of technology advancements between the KTM and the KX. Not 1 model years worth.

Amazing how you can spend so much money on aftermarket parts and still have a bike that looked better when it was stock. Those graphics ruins everything. Quick fix tho...

Btw, looks like they found Barcias old grips from last season

People saying the bike is slow or is slower than a stock ktm/husky is plain stupid . Go back to the 17 AMA outdoors and look at how many holeshot s and how many times all yellow bikes were up front, all year .hell ronnie stewart nearly holeshot an outdoor race last year .RCH and JGR had rocket ships of bike s in 17 . it does nt cost that much money to make an RMZ450 have more hp than a standard ktm/husky. It s getting a modded RMZ have more hp than a modded ktm/husky thats the tuff bit

They’ve had this bike up for a while now, a couple months ago they had a posting that included this bike, one of Barcia’s practice RMZs, and a non-numbered bike that had apparently only seen a dyno. Wonder why this one didnt sell yet, I’d personally take a bike from Peick over one that Barcia had beat to death

You realize that 2017 came new with pretty much the same engine as a 2008 rmz?

I don’t understand how that point is applicable to the original? So how much more hp did the 2017 have than the 2008? The guys argument that a modded rmz was “slower” or less powerful than a fresh, used KTM, was the point I was getting at that didn’t make any sense.
