I highly doubt it will happen in his first year.

In SX, Seely and Anderson will continue their history of always finding each other on the track.

Didn't he hold his own against Febvre in his first ever 450 race? Correct me if I'm wrong. I think he is an instant title threat!

lol no way mate. You have to be a good starter and Webb is not one of those. The top three will be checking out while he's trying to come through the pack. It'll be all over by the end of the first lap.

I have him for a top 5 five rider next year.

If Webb rides the way he is riding right now, he's a title contender indoor and outdoor in 2017. He's not going to move over for anyone. He also doesn't quit and pushes until the checkers every moto. This is the difference between getting away with being a bad starter and not getting away with being a bad starter. Webb is on a roll and he will bring spice into the 450 class.

Oh I aggree that he has the drive and can come through the pack. But if Tomac, Dungey or KR94 are off the front, Webb wont catch them as he doesn't have their speed. Someone above mentioned Barcia and this is who I see Webb battling next year.

Webb will be a total non factor in the 450 class. He will be product of bad life timing.

As far as adding spice goes, If you are not winning being a dick will create backlash. His act will grow old fast.

Of course I'd like to see JS7 get back into the battles but who knows. Seely & Anderson should be good! But as far as Webb goes. I either see him being a turd in the 450 class or doing really well. No in between. Just my 2 cents

He did. At Glen helen. Along with Grant. Do you see Grant beating KR, RD or ET anywhere in the world? Webb will be a future title threat for sure. But KR, RD and ET are too good for him to beat consistently enough to challenge them for the title's his first year. 2018? Absolutely, I would expect him to challenge. I could see Webb battling with ET a few rounds in SX but not outdoors. It'll be a RD and KR show again in SX.

There should be some awesome battles for 4th-10th though.

Josh Grant at Glen Helen is capable of beating anyone. Elsewhere? Not so much. All I'm saying is it was impressive to see Webb up front in his first 450 race, so with a full season of preparation I expect to see him up there. Even as a rookie

Webb is predictable and easily distracted. The seasoned pros like dungey will know how to beat him, and the gamers like Anderson will know how to fuck with him.

It was impressive I completely agree. But No-Grant can't beat RD, KR or ET at Glen Helen. Those 3 are on another planet anywhere, including Helen. Grant would be 20-30 seconds behind them rather than 1 minute plus. So he certainly would be a little closer.

Roczen, who arguably, sort of, played second fiddle in the 250 class (certainly didn't dominate) wins title in his rookie season against a healthy Dungey.

Webb, comes off a gritty, dominant, double championship season...."will be a non factor in the 450s"

No one with any common sense is saying Webb will not be a factor in his rookie 450 year. He will be up toward the front. But he hasn't done anything to indicate he will run with ET, RD & KR in his rookie year. Don't blast guys because they have an opinion. At this point, your opinion means as much as anyone elses-jack shit.

If he goes out and runs with the fast 3 in his rookie year then come on here and say you told us so. But until then, you have nothing to base your opinion on.

AMA 450's
Dungey
Roczen
Tomac
Barcia
Webb

A lot of really fast guys, I could see Barcia up front again if he gets along with the bike or changes the team. No doubt about Webb, he will mix things up at the front right away i believe.

AMA250's
Forkner
JMart
Ciancarulo

GP's
Gajser
Cairoli
Herlings

I thnik Herlings will make battles in GP's even more interesting.
