2016 rmz250 more low end??

I have a 2016 rmz250 that I can't get any more low end out of it. It boggs bad on starts and struggles up big hills. 3rd out of corner feels like there's nothing there. I've tried changing the gearing. I had a 13/49 originally I changed it to 13/52. Super frustrated. Was thinking of getting stage 1 hot cams. Any suggestions???

I believe stock gearing is 13/49 so there might be most of your issue.

How long since the top end has been rebuilt? Valve job?

Go 270 big bore kit.

Refresh the top end and make sure the valve seats are recut and perfect.
Raising the compression always helps: so does more cc's.

I'd say about 30hrs

Does the problem get better or worse if you use one of the other mapping plugs?

Yeah, figure it whether it's running right before you figure out it's short on power

When I got the bike the owner didn't have the other plugs. I'm going to get them and will try that.

Vortex ignition from XPR. Will give you more bottom end and a lot of other things, I give this input based on a properly functioning motor.

Maybe dirty fuel injector.

So I'm adjusting the valves today. I was going to wait to do it but I'm losing my mind thinking about it. So when I took the The cover off and expose the cams I noticed that the top dead center marks were a little off. The intake cam was one tooth off on the marks. Also the intake valves were .005 mm tighter than they're supposed to be

Update::: So I adjusted the valves so there in spec. I moved the intake cam back one tooth so it was even with the exhaust valve... Started up first kick! I did a couple of starts and the first start scared me bc the power was strong and didn't bog at all. We will see how it is tomorrow at the races! Thanks everyone for the imput
