Weege mentioned today on the LL broadcast that he talked to Pat Alexander from Suzuki at length and was told that the Suzuki team for next year is an existing team that will be switching brands. Any ideas on which team it might be?

I don't know but if it is going to be an exsisting team I would think the only choice with a good established team would be CycleTrader team. Since Star Racing is the factory Yamaha 250 team there doesn't need to be two Yamaha teams. Rockstar is the Husky team. TLD is the KTM team next year and GIECO is the Honda team.

That was my first thought as well until I thought about the Rock River connection. That's the only reason the team exists and they are married to Yamaha, unless they amateur team takes a turn as well.

mx836....good point. This should be interesting. I'm just glad they are going to have a team. It has been ashame that Suzuki hasn't been out there.

I don't think that is the photo that sparked the Bell rumor, I can't remember if it was Matthes, but someone said they saw pictures of Zach riding the Suzuki. Honestly I can't think of any team that would make the switch besides Rock River, what other proven teams aren't locked down with a brand? Star is with Yamaha, Geico with Honda, Rockstar with Husky, TLD with KTM. Rock River makes the most sense, it would also hand Suzuki a solid amateur program. Crossland is the only other team that comes to mind, but aren't they supposed to be getting factory support from Honda next year?

That would be awesome, but I doubt that Mitch would be talking to Besceglia or Bell like Matthes mentioned the new Suzuki team are talking to.

PC has had more problems with their Kawasakis the past couple of years than ever before. I think it would be very cool to see them switch...but Monster Energy pumps a lot of money into that team. That would be a big loss in team revenue, wouldn't it?

I'd like to know what the deal is with the V8 Holden in the back ground ( since we don't have them here in the states ) AND , why Tyler still talks about 85cc bikes like he did 7yrs ago? Lookin at that kid in the pics he should be on a damn Service 500 by now , wouldn't ya think?

Kaw and Monster might be on the outs so monster/suzuki at PC would give them the revenue still...... again just thinking out loud, could be completely off track but until Monster resigns with Kaw anything is possible

Mitch already said he'll have the same line-up next year, besides that, no chance he'll go to Suzuki any time soon.

Completely different Husqvarna. I would hate to see that happen personally.

I've thought the whole thing was a show since the beginning! All that foreign picture stuff and 10 years on an 85 was discussed in the Tyler's mom thread. Laughing Just playing along for the sake of playing along.

Awesome news...I don't care where they come from, as long as Suzuki has their 250F team up and running. They deserve to be there, it's a damn good bike.

Monster is leaving Kawi. I think we will see Monster Yamaha just like in Europe. Which will affect Mitch and factory Kawi big time. Will be interesting to see how they handle it.

Rock River is a dealership, a Yamaha ONLY dealership. They also get a lot of support from Yamaha as a key part of their amateur program. It won't be Rock River making the switch.
