University Of Phoenix Stadium instead of Chase field....? Hmmmm. Doesn't make Phoenix as an exciting of a stop.
Why? Chase was cool, but Glendale will be cool too. It's a better mix layout wise also, out of 8 west coast rounds there are 5 baseball stadiums and 3 football stadiums.
Houston got the boot... Really? I always thought that was one of the more popular stops. I would think it's better than the San Diego parking / pits catastrophe twice. But I'm not a Feld exec so who cares.

As an AZ person, I am excited for this.
Being that Chase Field is downtown parking and the pits were always a shit-show.
Also moved to round 5 is cool, guys won't be figuring out settings, holding back, and such
After they built the new Stadium in AZ I wondered how long it would be till the races went there instead of Chase. Chase is one of the coolest stadiums and in a super cool spot right down town. I think this was a mistake.
I have been to this stop about 10 times. We never had an issue parking. But then I have been burried all the way inside Anaheim also and understand real traffic headaches.

X2 on the shit show. I also like the Feb date better and can't wait to see what the football field will yield for track layout. Going to be cool!
Kind of a knee jerk reaction to H-Town, I think. Bad attendance this year because of:
The championship was already decided
Roundy-round (NASCAR) racing in Fort Worth
Something called MotoGP in Austin
because we get 45-50,000 people at that race! it rocks up here!
You got it! It's a very successful stop on the tour. It draws a lot of fans from both sides of the border (Toronto is about an hour and a half from the closest border crossing) We see a lot of New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio license plates there as well.

Yep I agree 100%
BIG MISTAKE
Brosho lives in Tucson and doesn't have a clue but will enjoy the pit party...
sorry to vent but no seattle is fucking bullshit. and 6 rounds in cali for the entire west coast. seattle has always had good turnouts here too every time. maybe the big one will hit and cali will drop off in the ocean lol
I'm pissed about no Seattle too , but I had heard it was coming back in a few years. They were going to do it in a different stadium or something like that? Every year I have gone that place was pretty damned packed. And 6 damn rounds in Cali ? I know they think it's the center of the friggin' universe , but c'mon!

Florida to California to Michigan to California to Indiana. That's some windshield time!
Just a thought.
I heard they will go back to Houston next year, but take that with a grain of salt as I'm not industrie.

Downtown Phoenix has a great vibe with all the restaurants and bars.
Glendale is in BFE!
Why do you think for think for this year's Superbowl in Glendale they had all the festivities in Phoenix?
Shit, Feld could F up a wet dream!
This sucks
Woohoo, 2 San Diego and a Massachusetts round!
