Here we go!!! I am out here at swan mx for the biggest pro race us texans have at the moment. Here is the rider lineup for the day.



Some nice national talent to say the least! Beautiful weather and a georgous track! Going to be a great day of racing! 1st moto at 3pm central time

Damn, pretty good turn out. How does John Short stack up against the other Texas pros? He was impressive at the North Central Regional this year.

His best moto finish last year was 7th but he had some bad luck iirc, i remember his coming through the pack in more than one moto. I would not be surprised to see him top 5 in this field

The martin/short battle pushed them up onto the back of top jimmy, short got around martin and almost got albertson at the line

Not sure, oldenburg rode off so he was not hurt, he is usually a hard charger so i'm betting it was a bike issue that forced the dnf about 4 laps into the moto, he was running second again before he fell back

Lamay rode off too, first time i saw him come around he was coasting looking behind him, he pulled off that first lap i believe

Not sure about Lamay but it looked like Oldenburg had an issue with front tire or possibly brake. This was after running 2nd for about 4 or 5 laps...

He was actually on a white plastic kx450 I think

He had a big crash first moto and dnfed apparently. He's a bad dude could come off the couch after a year and be solid! Pretty sure he's coming off of a knee surgery this year and has only been back a couple months.

Ok, very well could have been a clapped out kx instead of yz, lol! He was listed on the sheet as riding a kawi. I was just guessing based off the plastic color

A lot of people probably over looked young Andrew Pierce. Kid passed a total of 56 racers this weekend, finishing a strong 9th in both classes.

Yep, holeshot both moto's, was never challenged. Oldenburg kept the gap down to around 6 or 7 sec the whole first moto. Alessi had a huge gap over albertson by the end of the second moto, probably more like 20 seconds or more.

Must be nice to be that good, looked like a easy day at the office for him

Zach Williams won the overall today in the 250 class. Can't remember where everyone else stacked up. Oldenburg had more bike issues today also.

Lamay came together with someone in 1st turn and it bent his brake pedal around to the top of foot peg. Every time he put his foot down he stepped on the brake. Ended his day.
