2014-2015 ktms still up to date ?

just a thought that caught my mind, wouldn't a ktm from 2014 and 15 should be pretty good still ? i mean here in europe we got the wp cc (bladder fork) forks on both those years so no 4cs shit, and the wp cc forks could be as good as kyb ss with a good valving ? is that true or did the wp cc forks just suck on mx tracks ? i mean aren´t they close to a ohlins fork inside ? shock is just a shock and just as good as the valving inside. and the build quality on the older ktm was even better than there at now i think. and of course hydralic clutch, best brakes and good clutch still lighter than all the new jap bikes this year. i mean was it just poor valving that held the ktms back those years ?

Yes, the 2013-2014 KTM 350s and 450s are amazing bikes. Those CC Forks were the best forks WP has ever made.

They're good enough on power for 99% of MX riders.

I have a 15 350. It's what I bought after a 10 year break from riding. Loads of fun, except the 4cs forks almost breaking my wrists coming up short on some bigger jumps.. I haven't fixed the forks yet, aside from that and the bike getting up in hours, I haven't thought I needed to upgrade.

My '14 150sx is still major fun to ride. Not as fast or light as the newer ones, but very reliable.

Also, I have some revalved WP CC spring forks on my '17 TC250 which are literally great.

I did the KYB SSS conversion to my 13 forks. They are so good now. I really like the action but with the little stiffer legs and tubes, you know exactly where the front wheel is while turning. Definitely the right direction in my opinion. I have a 2stroke 2000 380 engine in my chassis. Really a fun bike to ride.

Had a SXF 450/15 EU Version. Sold the bike when my 16/450 arrived but kept the CC forks as they were perfect. Had these forks in use on the 16, 17 and 18 SXF when I bought a CV fork. Still use that fork often. If you can get a 15/450 with the CC fork you should have a lot of fun.

Had a '14 350 and now have a '17. Handling and engine are, imo, much better on the '17.

I have a '15 450SXF and love it.. I'm not fast enough for the 4CS forks to matter. And it's much lighter and faster than my old '05 RMZ was in its best dreams.
