I have issues with shifting gears from 4th to 5th and down from 5th to 4th. I need to pull / push the shift lever twice to engage the gear. Shifting to other gears works fine. Any ideas where should I start? Could that be the shift shaft? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

Sharpen the shifting "claw" that hooks the shift drum. Positive shifting from then on.

put a claw sticker on side of bike, it will be so fast in third you wont need those other gears

There is a youtube video on the subject. Just some guy talking about it with video of his hands explaining. But you take a round file to do the work. There is also thread on here as well. I remember drawing out the end goal with the part.
