If they don't come out with "up to date" looking stuff. They are fucked. They will kill it in the vet market I am sure, but that's the smallest demographic. Most of those guys buy 2-3 year old gear so 2012 JT gear will fly off the shelves in 2014. Great. I want them to stick around but, It's way too plain for kids (biggest demographic) and they don't give a shit about the heritage.

My eyes! Noooooooo!

Seriously, maybe I would like this stuff better if I saw it in person. The Blue and white gear would mayyyybe be ok. The first thing that came to mind looking at it though was "yuck". Then I thought they should send this gear back in time where it used to be cool. I agree that maybe they'll kill it in the vet market, but I'm over thirty and JT means little to me. The older the demo, the less of them will still be riding or buying gear.

This is he first line, guys. Not the only line.

Now that db is at the helm, expect coolness.

David is cool no doubt. Hopefully the gear will follow suit. Also, if they can get riders who win races to wear the gear I'd bet it'll start to catch on. Seems to work that way.

I'd like to see them do well, but like BIGHEAD1 said, the largest demographics are the kids and teens and until you have someone like a Reed, Stewart, Dungey or a rider of a similar caliber running this gear they won't do that well.

They need to put all there chips into one basket and sign someone big just to get exposure. For someone reason I can see Tedesco running this gear, idk why. He is as high caliber of a rider that I see them signing. Possibly sponsor a satellite team..

THis is NOT their only line of gear.

Do some research before you spout off about how they are destined to fail.

I love it. It does not make me want to throw up to look at it which is something I can't say about the new Fly gear.

They could have 3 lines out, but what I said still applies. The gear needs more exposure. You could have the best gear ever made, but if you have a rider that struggles to make mains and score points your not going to get that exposure. Little kids want to have the gear that their favorite riders have and those riders are typically the top riders in the sport. The top riders aren't running JT right now and probably wont because JT doesn't have the money to pay the top riders. Then again, I could eat my words come A1

The "age" classes are generally bigger at most races. But point taken, They need to come up with some stuff for all markets and I bet they will. That doesnt mean they have to come out with clown puke gear though.

I think its looks awesome. It's clean. Both Jersey and Pants give plenty of room for corporate sponsor logos instead of them getting lost in a cluster-fuck sea of horshit designs from some of the other gear manufactures

I dig it. Can't see too many people buying the pink shit though. I'll probably buy a set of the white/blue but I'll wait to hear some reviews first.

I think the gloves look fine, the pants and jerseys are too small.

Its good to see this in our times of clown puke gear. DB will class things up in the gear world.

I like it. A nice alternative. I can see both young and old digging it. I'm sure there are younger guys that will wear the pink just to stand out.

I agree with your statement, but do you think that the marketing people don't already know that?
I'd bet that a company as big as the one behind this brand has a detailed plan for the rollout/branding/marketing for the new lines, and most likely has a strategy in place to increase the brand's awareness.
