So i just sold my cr250 and was browsing market place for the next project and stumbled across this 10’ 250 for a decent price and was curious how everyone felt about them that has experience with them. I was only 10 when they came out so i don’t know how everyone felt about them at the time. This generation before they went to dual exhaust is one of my favorite bike due to the factory honda bikes at the time, so simple and clean! The bike in question and in the price point i’m wanting to stay at.

I had a 2012 (pretty much same bike i believe) and absolutely loved it! Once you get it set up for your riding style, you cant go wrong if the price is right. Only reason i sold mine was my fat ass needed more to push me around the track, so i picked up a 2011 450 since i like that platform so much....

The bike looks really nice to me, but I have a question for those in the know. There was a generation where Honda said something to the effect of “we don’t want to build a fast bike” I think the point was they were trying to make the bike more accessible to the masses. Does anyone know which generation of bikes that was?

The 2010 looks like a nice low hour that is pictured though.
