You will be lucky to get one period, never mind a discount. Like mentioned above, we wont see any deals on 2010 anything until about April 2010, when the mad rush for 2010's have slowed right down.

I just sold my 2x 2009's (KX250F & KX450F) and called my dealer thinking I could go this week and grap a pair of 2010's.......ya right!! I was shocked when they told me the price, almost $2000ea MORE than I paid last spring...so I am holding out myself.

I just called my dealer, who I knew had long ago sold their first (and maybe only) unit. They said it would not be in the shop until January.

They have a list of people to call when it hits the floor, so we can at least touch it.

One was sitting on the sales floor at Langston's last week and was for sale, not sold. It was hard for me to not be dumb and buy it, but I refrained.

Do the weekend warrior types think that this bike will "take them to the next level"?

Here's what I'm advising my clients ( I have clients? ):

Buy a leftover 08 or used 09 and spend 4-5 $ grandage.

Spend $1500-2000 on a used 2 smoker, too.

Total spent? About $6500.00

You now have 2 $ grand to blow on massages, cocktails,

sleazy hotels and a pair of Isotoner winter gloves for your woman.

No, no, don't thank me.

Prime example of a wicked "left over deal"

For my money: Go get the best deal ya can on a 2009 Injected 450 of your choice and get a "Map", a pipe and a piston (13-13.5:1). Get the suspension done up...

Voila!

A bike all set-up and rippin' for the same/less than a new 2010.

My choice? They're starting the "Give-Aways" on 2009 RMZs...supposedly the 450 (2009) Honda's gonna go on sell, soon, too. In both cases you're lookin' at the ability to build a bike that's better than the "New" 2010 model for A LOT LESS $$$$$$$.(Better than the EXPENSIVE 2010 "stocker")

If I was buyin' a 2010? Kawi...it's a HOT-ROD!

I'm jus' sayin'...
