Hello,
I have a 2008 KTM 144 SX. I purchased the bike in 2009, it has only had about 12-15 hours of riding. The bike is in mint condition. Those are not scratched on the forks/stanchions, it is just light reflection. How much money should I ask for this bike? If location is relevant, I am in Pennsylvania. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

I don't know about Pennsylvania, but around here $2000-$2500 OBO. KTM's aren't popular where I live.

Sure you are not thinking of the 2007's? We have an 08 that has been excellent. Still, it is an 08 and probably not going to fetch over 2 grand. That seems to be the magic number for the past decade for a used small bore 2 stroke.

Nice bike though, ask $2500.00 and negotiate from there.

I might be wrong but I'm 99% sure 2009 is when they fixed the issue and renamed it the 150

Was thinking the same thing on price.

Thanks guys for the help! $2,500 it will be. Apparently it's going to be 59 degrees here in PA on Sunday, so I'll wait to clean it up and list it then.

Back in 2003 I was trying to sell my oldest sons 2001 RM125. Super clean, maybe 40 hours total time, fresh crank and piston, fresh tires, Billet triples, Dyna FS programmable ignition, good bars and levers, FMF SST pipe, Bills silencer, V-Force reed block and minor porting and head work to get better low-mid power. Tried to sell locally and on eBay and could never get an offer over $1900.00. Took everything off and put all the stock parts on and traded it in for $1950.00. Had people fighting over all the trick bits on Ebay and ended up getting 7-8 hundred for the parts.

Here is our 2008 144 when I bought it "used" back in 2009. A guy bought it for his wife to trail ride and had the dealer add $1200.00 worth of off road hardware to it. She had issues and couldn't ride so he sold it to another guy who bought it for his wife as well. The week he brought it home they found out she was pregnant with twins. Maybe 2 hours time on it and he sold it to me for $3300.00 with the original take off parts. Couldn't pass it up.
