Hello all, have a quick question that might seem like a no brainer but taking my time and replacing crankseals currently. I am at the almost final step before putting new seal in and putting back together. Which way is the correct way to (loosen) remove the bolt holding on the primary gear?
I have a 3/4 ratchet with with a 14mm socket and any way I turn it won’t come loose. I am using the old penny trick to jam gear, so the gear moving while I turn is not a problem. Thank you in advance hoping to be back out on the trails ASAP.

Then either wedge a coin between the two gears or use a special clutch holding tool.
If that does not work you need a rattle gun.

I used a regular wrench though, it didn’t even budge. I guess I need to get a hold of an impact.
