2005 Suzuki RM250 $$$???

How much to pay for a mint condition 2005 RM 250? I was thinking that $2200-2400 would be a fair deal but I am seeing more old two strokes going for way more than a couple of years ago.

I would add 1000 to that number

I guess I was hoping for more of a deal. These bikes in good condition are getting harder to find.

I'm asking $2800 for my clean 2004 model, so I would think a mint 2005 would be worth 3000-3400?

I'd go with 2006-2008 if you don't already have an 05 lined up. 06 engine is a bit smoother

From what I have seen in my area $2k will get you a tapped out high schoolers play bike. It's ridiculous.

There's a guy on here that could call this place his second home sort a say that was only asking in the mid three range. A series of unfortunate events took place, and I missed it. I would have paid $4,500 perhaps even more for it. Nothing special it was bone stock with the safety stickers still on the fenders.

Damn I'm sorry Brett! I did want you to get it too!

I had this 05' RM250 up for sale here at vital for about a month at $3600.00. Had a few offers but nothing serious. I then decided to put it on CL and got hammered with low ball's. I had two guys offer me full price , but neither ever showed up. I took it off CL and decided to keep....because I knew what it was worth. Then a few weeks ago , the owner from Hillsboro Motosports called me out of the blue and asked if I still had the 05'....and if it was still for sale. I said " maybe ". He said he would give me what I paid for it + cost of title transfer + knock off even more money on a new 16' Kawi 450 ( he knew I wanted one ). I took it up to him and got about $4100.00 towards my new Kawi.

Like I said though.....I had it here for a month and no serious offers. I have my 06' RM 250 too , but that thing aint going any where , any time soon.

I just looked at the nicest 2006 rm250 I have ever seen and probably will be buying it. You guys all have some nice bikes and if I don't buy one I will regret it.

Wow you made out like a bandit doesn't even look used. I paid 1800$ for my 04 which was clapped out and put another $2k+ into her. OP if you can find a mint K4+ RM250 I would jump on it. Prices wildly vary depending on location.

I could have bought a 2006 yz250 for a little less but I have owned that bike and loved it but I just really wanted change. These bikes are supposed to be really good as well, I hope I will not regret the decision to buy the RM but this is one of the cleanest bikes I have ever seen.

My '04 RM250 is still sitting in my basement (far from perfect condition). I feel like I own a piece of gold or something. As far as I can see it is appreciating in value. Simply an incredible bike.

What do you guys figure a '06 RC edition RM 250 in the crate would sell for?

Depends on where you are selling it. Selling it nation wide you could get any where up around $5000.00. I saw a brand new one sell on there a few months ago and think the highest bid was $5100.00. If I was rich , or at least set up financially well off....I'd buy a few of those. They are an awesome bike for sure. I don't think I'll ever part with mine , but my good buddy just picked up his 2017 KTM 250 and wants me to take her for a test spin. I may hate it , I may love it and sell the 06' haha.

All depends on what someone wants , and what they are willing to pay for it.

I would be surprised if it has even 10 hours on it? Looks like grandma rode it around the back yard.

This has to be the best used two smoker grab of the year, nice work!

Now that looks like a deal. Love those wheels! Those are great smokers. My 1st choice for a 250 2 stroke. I miss mine, but now I still have the 125 and the RM500AF. The 250 is the best all around, in my opinion.
