Hey everyone. I thought I would share my first full bike rebuild. After about 18 months and some serious learning curves... she is finally done.

Bike looks good. I like the fact you kept the old style front fender on it as well. Not a big fan of newer fenders on old bikes

I wanted to keep the stock hubs and after a hard fought battle with the crusty dry rotted tires they cleaned up pretty well. I laced up some new Tusk rims. Also gave swing arm some love and new linkage bearings.

New piston and gaskets and a bunch of goodies.

Yes sir, about 6. Thought the seat was still going to be a bit high but with the bar height it feels pretty good. True test will come on ride day.

I agree with your sentiment on the fenders so much. And to OP, the bike looks great!

Congrats on your first rebuild ! Great job and 180 graphics is spot on with the design. Not being a smart a$$ by no means, but check your brake pedal, looks a bit low, or maybe that's how you prefer. Anyway.... "ride with pride".
