First new bike I bought was an 02. It was an excellent bike. There isn't a more 125ey 125 than an 01+ RM 125.

Still one of my favorite bikes. And so clean with the yellow wheels. This is my highly modified 04 on RMZ spring suspension

There is nothing more fun than riding a 125 around a track. So awesome.

Ridden every last gen japanese 125 except the Suzuki....what do you mean by the RM being the most 125ey?

I almost bought an 03 KX125 but it was an official pile of super shit! The motor ran great though and dam it was fast for a 125. As far as that last comment about nothing funner than riding a 125 at a track, I had a brief preview of what you're saying g and I've been salivating for a few years to live this dream.

I currently have an 03 KX250 and since it's pretty much a 1 year bike, so was the 03 KX125 and I would slap a baby to get my hands on a decent 03 KX125. They're super hard to find around my area but bec of my 03 KX250 I'm specifically looking for an 03 KX125.

If anyone has one or knows of someone that wants to sell one, I'm in norcal by Stockton...the 209 and I dont mid doing a little driving for the right bike and price.

Btw ....sorry I didnt mean to hijack the thread, back on track (no pun intended lol)

Those are some beautiful RM125's and I think the 01 and up RM's are quite possibly the best looking dirtbikes ever designed and are still timeless.

Super light feel
No bottom, ALL top
Nothing turns inside of an RM125

I fell in love with an 02' RM250 that we have, it was a little slower than my 250f and suspension wasn't too good but I felt like I was on a 125! Literally had that thing screaming all the way around the track..two strokes fill the soul!

Winter came back here in Southern MN. Just got the wheels on last night. Really wanted a photo of the pipe side with some good lighting. Fmf factory on the other side

Post them when you have them. You did such a good job on that thing. I think you just motivated me to add one to my collection.

Horrible lighting in my garage. I still need to flip it around as well. This is from the same night after I put them on

I spent months trying to find a works PC only to learn and find out that they stopped producing them and discontinued on them. Then I moved to a Bills and had absolutely ZERO luck on that either. Then I was like, ok. FMF it is since they must be the only one's still producing pipes that are easy to find for the old dinosaur 🦕

I went BUD/HGS after the same experience. It seemed like Bills was actively trying NOT to sell me a pipe. I’ll never even attempt to order from there again. I literally had more luck with Legacy Carbon, and that is saying something! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I would like to build a 90,s RM125 some day. A 98 in particular, but had no idea how hard it is, to find a pipe. Stock Rm pipes are pretty good tho. Pic of my new 98.

Oh man what a beauty.

One month ago a good friend lent me his RM 125 for the day. Got engaged and ignited since the first lap. Did not remember how lean it is, how easy you can move it around and how much agressive you can be on the gas.

Pure joy.
