Local shop here in Atlanta still has a 20” front dunlop on the rack.

speaking of 20" fronts, what was the supposed benefit of running a 20" front back in the day?
I know some factory riders went with it, and some didn't. Then they just disappeared...

More tire, more grip in the soft/loamy conditions. They tended to wander on hard pack though.

The slightly wider 21 fronts are doing what the 20s were meant for

I have a CRF250 and a CR250 both with a 20" front wheel just collecting dust in the garage.....even if you could get a tire from these people, its over 10 years old and will rip knobbies off on the first ride. Going to take them off soon and save them for when people want to overpay for parts that are unavailable and obsolete

This helped fix the slack head angle of the 2002 crf450, and they simply fixed the frame geometry as the drawbacks of the 20 inch tire didn't outweigh the benefits on a bike with proper geometry.....
